Hopeful Friday - Dziękczynienie / Thanksgiving

Photo by rain70
Jesień. Kochamy ją - bo jest piękna!

Tyle cudownych rzeczy!!!

Jak jej nie kochać? Za te wszystkie cuda natury? Już w XVI wieku jeden z najwybitniejszych poetow polskich i europejskich dziękował Stwórcy za piękno tej naszej Ziemi. Był nim Jan Kochanowski

Bo to wszystko Twoje
Cokolwiek na tym świecie
Człowiek mieni swoje.

Wdzięcznym Cię tedy sercem,
Panie wyznawamy,
Bo nad tę przystojniejszej
Ofiary nie mamy.

Tyś Pan wszystkiego świata,
Tyś niebo zbudował
I złotymi gwiazdami
Ślicznie uhaftował.

To klasyczny, piękny, symboliczny, dostojny wiersz. Stanowi manifest religijny- ma charakter hymnu zawierającego dziękczynienie i pochwałę Stwórcy za Jego genialne, ponadczasowe, cudowne dzieło.

For my English friends, ( not only):

Come, ye thankful people, come,
Raise the song of harvesthome;
All is safely gathered in,
Ere the winter storms begin:

God, our Maker, doth provide
For our wants to be supplied;
Come to God's own temple, came,
Raise the song of harvesthome.

All the world is God's own field,
Fruit unto His praise to yield;
Wheat and tares together sown
Unto joy or sorrows grown:

First the blade, and than the ear,
Than the full corn shall appear;
Lord of harvest, grant that we
Wholesome grain and pure may be.

Oh Maria! Krystyna has made such a beautiful new blog for you, with 3 columns and music and so many added things! It is beautiful. I thank you for dedicating the song to me and leaving other comments on my blog. You are a lady of strength and wisdom. I was so sorry to hear of your leg pain, and I added you to my prayer journal. Is it from diabetes or from blood clots or what? I am happy to hear that you are a bit better now. Pain is a hard life to live. You are such a popular lady, you have 14 comments, and most of them don't even speak Polish!I see you also have another friend named Sheila, but it is spelled differently. Thankyou for raising Krystyna to be such a great woman and example. You are a wonderful mother to have Krystyna reflect how she was raised. "Her children shall be raised and call her blessed." God bless you in every way dear Maria!
