I have been an artist as long as I can remember. I started painting in 1983 while living in Princeton, New Jersey. I found lots of inspiration when we moved to Hong Kong for my husband's work. Five years later, we moved to Toronto. We returned to New England in 2002 and I have enjoyed all the creative and inspiring resources that surround me. The Lord has blessed my life with a wonderful family and many gifts.- Karen

What Karen said about her artwork:
I believe that creativity is a gift from God. My goal is to share those inspirations with you. Please copy and use any of my photographs or artwork on this blog (her blog) to use for your personal use, as my gift to you.
Really, Karen has a gift from God. You can see or buy her artworks here:

My Dear Friend Karen,
I would like to thank you for your thoughts. Your gift gave me a lot of joy.
The paintings are so beautiful, particularly your painting of a house full of flowers, it reminds me of my childhood. My childhood home was always full of flowers, my mom loved flowers, and they grew everywhere. If there was a free piece of space it had flowers on it, be it the window sill, our porch and everywhere around the house. My childhood home was always full of flowers. Your picture of a house looks like a real replica of my childhood home.
Right away I had all of your paintings framed, they will be decorating my house.
Your picture of a young bride looks fantastic - her face shows happiness. In my country a bride would wear white; a long white veil, a head piece made out of myrtle, a long white dress and accessories. She would also have bouquet of white flowers. As of late this fashion has changed and it has become more relaxed.

I admire your creativity, your style and taste. Every time I am visiting your blog I admire the inside of your home, your beautiful Gallery and I enjoy reading your pages. I enjoy your beautiful Children Stories and illustration and I also admire your store displaying your art.
Your gift was a big surprise and has brought me extreme happiness, and I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Always grateful - Maria
